Privacy notice — Invela Risk Indicator sign-up
Applies to sign-ups through this page, at our events and online at tryinvela.com.
Who is the controller
Invela, Inc. is the data controller for the details you provide on the sign-up form. You can contact us at info@invela.com.
What we collect and why
- Company legal name and website/domain — to compute your outside-in Invela Risk Indicator score from public signals.
- Your name, job title and company email — to arrange and confirm your risk-score walkthrough and to follow up.
- Industry segment and region — to rank your score against anonymised peers and show the right regional view.
- Meeting preference and the meeting time you choose — where the event offers meetings, to schedule your walkthrough. Events that offer none do not ask this.
- Your answer to “Anything we should know?” — optional free text, read before your walkthrough.
- How you found us — the campaign tags in the link you followed, the website that referred you (its name only, not the page) and your device type (phone, tablet or desktop), to see which of our links and events bring people here. We record these with your sign-up and in visit counts, without cookies.
If you withdraw cookie consent partway through the form, the page may reload. Just before it does, your browser keeps what you have typed in its session storage; the page puts it back and deletes it when the page comes back, or when you close the tab. If your browser blocks session storage, nothing is kept.
Lawful basis
We use your details on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR). Our interest is to produce the score you ask for, to arrange and follow up your walkthrough, and to contact you, as a business contact, about Invela’s services. We use the details you give us, including anything you write in the optional note, and the public signals behind your score.
Your right to object
You can object at any time to our use of your details. If you object to direct marketing, we will stop using your details for it. To object, email info@invela.com.
Who else handles your details
Two companies process your details for Invela as our processors: HubSpot, Inc., our CRM, where your sign-up details are stored and followed up; and Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this sign-up page, stores what you submit and runs the bot check.
Retention and your rights
We keep your details for as long as we need them to follow up with you about your Invela Risk Indicator score and our services. You can ask us to delete them at any time, and we will erase them from our records and our CRM. You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data at any time by contacting Invela, and we will erase it on request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies
We only use analytics cookies if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject or don't choose, we don't load them.
- Your cookie choice: saved in your browser by us for 6 months, so we don't ask again on every page. It is needed for the banner to work, so we save it whichever option you choose.
- HubSpot analytics (__hstc and hubspotutk, 6 months; __hssc, 30 minutes; __hssrc, until you close your browser): set by HubSpot, Inc. for us. They count visits and show how people find and use these pages. HubSpot also uses your IP address to work out which company a visit comes from.
HubSpot processes this data for Invela as our processor and stores it in the United States.
You can change your mind at any time with at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing deletes the HubSpot cookies from this site and stops the analytics.
How your score is computed
The Invela Risk Indicator is outside-in: it is derived from publicly observable data (domain and infrastructure signals, public registries, and adverse media). You do not supply the data that drives the score.
